COUNSELLING

Talking therapies offer an integrative approach to counselling, ensuring you get the care and support that works for you. Trained in Person Centred, Psychodynamic, CBT, Cognitive, Behavioural, ACT, Brief Solution-Focused Care and Trauma Informed Care, we use the right tools and techniques that work for you.

Finding someone to talk to without judgement can be difficult in our everyday life. Talking can help you find answers, achieve goals and feel supported. We offer Face to Face support from our office in Colwyn Bay.

Counselling should be done at a time and in a place that is best for you. Our rooms in Colwyn Bay are cozy and intimate, offering a validating space for personal growth and healing.

Alternatively, if you are not able visit or wish to stay in the familiar and safe surrounds of your home, we offer both Telephone and Teams counselling so you can get support from wherever is most comfortable for you.

Why not get out into nature and move while we talk. Studies have found that exercise helps us open up to our emotions and being around nature is seen as safe and helps us to connect.

We find walking talking therapies can help to ease nerves and allow for a more natural conversation. Click the button below to get in touch for more information.

You will be provided with a vast array of therapeutic resources to aid you between our sessions and to motivate you to keep going when we finish.

MENTAL HEALTH IN THE WORKPLACE TRAINING

1 in 4 people will experience a mental health problem each year. To help, the government Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has updated its guidance to say that companies now need to specifically consider mental health as part of H&S policies and risk assessments.

Mind and Environment is able to help businesses looking at fulfilling this obligation by offering several training courses.  Providing Mental Health First Aiders in the workplace and having a relevant mental health policies in place helps to reduce stigma, reduce stress, and improve productivity.

We provide a number of qualifications which are regulated by Ofqual and Qualsafe. These courses are nationally recognised and will be a benefit to your business and employees.

In addition, we provide our own bespoke training workshops which are designed to cater for our clients needs and circumstances.

Employees with mental health problems often require extended leave, resulting in lost productivity and increased costs for employers. We are here to help your staff and increase the business’s productivity.

1 in 4 people in the UK will have a mental health illness. Our training is designed to reduce stigma in our society by opening up about common mental health illness and issues we all face.

In 2018 the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) updated their guidance. Employers now need to consider covering mental health risks and first aid training in addition to  physical risks and first aid at training. Is your business currently complient?
